Privacy Policy
Fluxa Stats ("we", "us") provides privacy-friendly website analytics. Privacy isn't an add-on for us — it's the product. This policy explains what happens to data in two places: on this website, and inside the analytics service we provide to customers.
Who we are
Fluxa Stats is run by Sam Harvey, based in the United Kingdom. For the personal data described in this policy — your account details, billing information and correspondence — Sam Harvey trading as Fluxa Stats is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@fluxastats.com.
The analytics service we provide
Our analytics tool is designed so that website owners can measure their traffic without collecting their visitors' personal data:
- No cookies are stored on visitors' devices.
- No fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracking.
- We do not collect or store personal data such as names, emails, or full IP addresses about our customers' visitors.
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics are stored on infrastructure located in the EU.
Because no personal data is collected for analytics, our customers generally do not need a cookie-consent banner for it.
For our customers — data processing
When we host analytics for a customer, that customer is the data controller and we act as their data processor under UK GDPR (Article 28). Because the service is cookieless and stores no personal data about visitors, the processing involved is minimal. Business customers who need a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) can request one — email us and we'll provide it.
This website (fluxastats.com)
When you visit this marketing website, we keep things minimal:
- Analytics: we use our own cookieless analytics to count visits in aggregate. No cookies, no personal data.
- Contact: if you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply and provide support.
- Payments: subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details — Stripe does, under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and subscription status to run your account.
What we use data for
- Providing and supporting your analytics dashboard.
- Taking payment and managing your subscription.
- Replying to your enquiries.
We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email us and we'll help. If you cancel, your analytics data remains yours and can be exported. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Data retention & location
We keep account and analytics data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we hold your data for 30 days (in case you change your mind or want an export), then delete it. Copies in our encrypted backups expire automatically within 45 days of that deletion. Data is hosted in the EU, managed from the UK.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
